We are seeking an experienced and strategic fundraising leader to drive the development and delivery of EverAbility’s fundraising strategy across Western Australia and Tasmania.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who can grow philanthropic income, strengthen donor and stakeholder relationships, lead high-performing teams and build an innovative, sustainable fundraising function that supports EverAbility’s long-term impact.

The Difference You’ll MakeIn this role, you will lead EverAbility’s fundraising strategy across Western Australia and Tasmania, driving sustainable revenue growth and strengthening relationships with donors, philanthropic organisations and key stakeholders.You will provide strategic leadership across regular giving, planned giving, community engagement, donor stewardship, database management and prospect research. Working closely with the Executive Team, Board and internal stakeholders, you will ensure fundraising activity is innovative, ethical, evidence-based and aligned with EverAbility’s strategic priorities. Key responsibilities include:Lead the development and delivery of EverAbility’s fundraising strategy across Western Australia and Tasmania, aligned with strategy and agreed income, growth and performance targets.Drive sustainable revenue growth through fundraising, philanthropy, donor acquisition and donor retention strategies across EverAbility’s brands.Provide strategic leadership to the fundraising function and foster a high-performing, accountable and collaborative team culture.Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, philanthropic bodies, partners and key stakeholders.Oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of fundraising campaigns and donor experiences.Manage fundraising budgets, operations and resources, ensuring effective financial stewardship and achievement of agreed outcomes.Monitor fundraising performance and provide meaningful reporting and insights to the Executive Team and Board.Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, governance and ethical fundraising requirements, including relevant Fundraising Institute Australia standards.Use technology, data, market insights and contemporary fundraising practices to improve donor engagement and organisational effectiveness.Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, continuous improvement and organisational excellence.
About YouYou are an accomplished fundraising or philanthropy leader with the strategic capability, commercial acumen and relationship-management skills to grow a sustainable fundraising portfolio. You will bring:A tertiary qualification in fundraising, marketing, communications, business, public relations or a related discipline.Significant leadership experience in fundraising, philanthropy or a related field.Proven success developing and implementing strategies that deliver revenue growth and organisational outcomes.Demonstrated experience building and managing strong donor, stakeholder and partner relationships.Experience leading high-performing teams and managing budgets, performance and reporting.The ability to use technology, data and innovation to strengthen fundraising outcomes.Strong strategic, financial and project management capability.Highly developed leadership, communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.Knowledge of fundraising governance, compliance and ethical standards.A collaborative, accountable and outcomes-focused approach, with the ability to influence across a complex organisation.
Experience in the not-for-profit, disability, health or community services sector will be highly regarded. Experience across major gifts, trusts and foundations, bequests, corporate partnerships, fundraising databases or CRM systems will also be advantageous. Membership of Fundraising Institute Australia or a similar professional body is desirable.
Compliance RequirementsThe successful candidate will be required to hold or obtain:National Police ClearanceNDIS Worker Screening CheckValid driver’s licenceWorking with Vulnerable People Check with NDIS endorsementThe successful candidate will be required to complete the Fundraising Institute Australia Code of Conduct.
