Hire Controller

The Opportunity:

We're excited to offer a fantastic job opportunity for an experienced Hire Controller to join our high performing team based in our QLD Branch.

The Hire Controller is responsible for supporting the branch as the first point of contact for Customer Service needs such as creating hires, off hiring, equipment deliveries and pickups, transfers, repairs and breakdowns.

Any given day may see you… 

• Responding to customer queries in person, by phone and email

• Providing assistance to customers in selecting appropriate hire solutions for equipment, ongoing site accommodations and tools based on requirements

• Organising the scheduling and availability of stocks for hire and delivery/collection of equipment

• Maintaining accurate records of hire transactions, hire agreements and customer information

• Ensuring cost effective and efficient transport movements such as delivery, pick up, repairs, changeovers and breakdowns

• End of month invoice approvals
  

Here’s what we are looking for… 

They must:

• Previous experience in a hire branch (highly desired but not essential)

• Strong customer service skills

• High attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written

• Exceptional time management skills and ability to work across multiple conflicting deadlines

• Organised and thrives in a fast-paced work environment

• Collaborative team member
