About the Role

This is a role for someone who loves seeing a project come to life. As our Construction Project Coordinator, you'll play a hands-on part in delivering new El Jannah restaurants from concept through to opening day. You'll split your time between office-based administration and on-site coordination, working closely with builders, contractors, certifiers, and councils to make sure every new restaurant meets our quality, safety, and compliance standards. With new stores opening across Australia all the time, there's no shortage of projects to sink your teeth into.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing the approvals and certification process, liaising with certifiers, councils, and builders to secure Occupation Certificates
• Coordinating project documentation, schedules, and budgets in line with Construction Manager timelines
• Conducting site visits to track progress, identify defects, and ensure issues are resolved before handover
• Building strong working relationships with builders, contractors, Franchise Partners, and regulatory bodies
• Supporting on-site coordination and assisting with permits and approvals across multiple states
• Keeping projects moving by staying across timelines, chasing actions, and flagging risks early

What We're Looking For

• Experience in an administration or coordination role, ideally within construction, QSR, or retail environments
• Knowledge of state construction regulations and approvals processes highly regarded
• Qualifications in Project Management, Property, or Business desirable but not essential
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Confident communicator with councils, contractors, and internal teams
• Willingness to travel and support projects on-site as needed
