About the role
This full-time Construction Supervisor role with Geraldton Building Services & Cabinets Pty Ltd offers an exciting opportunity to join an established construction company in Geraldton, WA. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and directing construction crews to complete projects efficiently and safely

• Coordinating the delivery of materials, equipment, and labour to construction sites

• Monitoring project progress and addressing any issues that arise to keep projects on schedule

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company policies

• Providing progress reports to project managers and clients

• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve any problems

• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing cost-saving measures

What we're looking for

• Experience (Min 1 year) as a Construction Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role in the construction industry

• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage crews and liaise with clients

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints

• Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools

• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards

• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications

• Current C Class Drivers Licence

• Diploma in Building and Construction (desirable)
