About the role

Eden Lifestyle Supports Pty Ltd is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Dayboro, QLD. This is a casual position offering flexibility and variety in your nursing career. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our client in their family home. This position is essential to our mission of providing compassionate, person-centred care that makes a meaningful difference in our clients' lives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and support to a 28 yr old woman who lives with her family in accordance with her individual care plans and clinical requirements.

• All shifts available are active overnight awake supports for airway management, positioning, medication administration and personal care.

• Assess clients' health status and identify any changes or concerns that require medical attention

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and maintain accurate records of all care provided

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards and ethical responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with family and follow directions in all aspects of their daughter's care and support.

• Remain sensitive to the woman's family culture, relationships and family dynamics

What we're looking for

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse

• Experience in community health nursing, maternal health, or child health nursing

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Demonstrated commitment to person-centred care and client advocacy

• Current immunization requirements and police check (or willingness to obtain)

• Airway and respiratory experience is a must.
