The Role
We are seeking a qualified Auto Electrician to join our Penrith service team.
This role focuses on auto electrical diagnostics, repairs and installations across a range of Vehicle Loading Cranes, EWPs, All Terrain Forklifts, Tailgate Loaders and Cranes. The successful candidate must be versatile, with the ability to carry out minor mechanical repairs when required.
Full product familiarisation training is available if required.
Key Responsibilities
Auto electrical fault finding, repairs and installations
OEM level systems diagnostics utilising proprietary software (training provided)
Minor mechanical repairs and servicing
Hydraulic system diagnostics where interactions with electrical systems exist
Reading and interpreting electrical and hydraulic schematics
Workshop based with some field service work required
Skills and Experience
Trade qualified Auto Electrician
Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
Experience with cranes, EWPs, heavy equipment or mobile plant is desirable but not essential
Willingness to perform minor mechanical work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and basic computer skills
Current Class C Driver’s Licence
