Wollongong Private Hospital is a 171 bed private hospital operated by Australia's largest private hospital operator, Ramsay Health Care, is set in the heart of Wollongong's Medical Precinct.  It features state of the art equipment, facilities and patient services setting a benchmark for healthcare facilities in the Illawarra. Wollongong Private Hospital provides all major services including an intensive care unit, ten operating theatres, cardiac and vascular Labs and an Endoscopy suite.  Surgical specialties include Cardiothoracics, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, interventional cardiology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric, Head and Neck, Gynaecological, Urology, Colorectal, upper GI, General, Vascular and Plastics.

Wollongong Private Hospital is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our wonderful medical team on a permanent part-time basis. 

As a member of our clinical team you will be planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients.

About You

You’ll be a compassionate, highly skilled nurse with a commitment to excellence in patient care and a passion for working in a collaborative, supportive team environment. 

You will also bring the following:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• A minimum of 2 years’ recent experience working in an acute medical ward and palliative care is essential.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster.
• Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth.
