Position: Casual Grounds Person / Mower Operators X 6

Hours: Casual - Position Starts ASAP

We are looking for 6 Casual staff members to join our new Whittlesea Contract, providing a high standard of open space maintenance as part of our ongoing long-term contract with Whittlesea City Council. 

As a valued team member, you will be based out of our Epping depot and be responsible for daily mowing/detailing of reserves and roadsides. Utilizing our wide area mowers, out fronts and zero turns you will become a vital part of our team with your daily tasks including (but not limited to):

• Mowing (primary)

• Brush cutting

• Some gardening 

• Blowing Paths

• Picking up litter

To be successful, what you will need: 

• Current Victorian Drivers Licence (essential);

• Medium Rigid Truck Licence (an advantage but not essential for right candidate)

• Construction Induction Card/White Card (essential)

• First Aid Certificate (an advantage)

• Experience  in commercial mowing/ Open Space work (preferred but not essential for right candidate)

• Strong commitment to Our “Safety first, always “  practices

• Be physically fit and love working outdoors 

• Ability to build strong professional relationships with team members 

• A Can-do attitude

• Pride in your daily work outcome
