Internal Sales Representative - E-Waste & ITAD

Shred-X is seeking an experienced, customer-focused sales professional to grow our E-Waste and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services across an established customer base.

This office-based role is focused on developing existing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities within active and dormant accounts, and managing high-quality inbound enquiries. You’ll work with customers to understand their technology lifecycle, data security, compliance and sustainability requirements—then recommend practical solutions spanning secure data destruction, IT asset recovery, remarketing and responsible e-waste recycling.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, uncovering opportunities and turning individual projects into long-term customer partnerships.

What you’ll do

• Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound calling and prospecting.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities within existing customer accounts to grow customer spend and strengthen relationships.
• Contact prospective and existing customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable Shred-X services.
• Qualify opportunities and manage them from initial conversation through quotation, acceptance and customer onboarding.
• Deliver a professional, responsive and positive customer experience at every stage of the sales process.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, including customer interactions, opportunity details, next steps and pipeline status.
• Meet activity, conversion and revenue targets through consistent prospecting, follow-up and opportunity management.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover and onboarding experience for new customers.
• Participate in sales meetings, coaching and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll bring

• Experience in outbound sales, telesales, business development, customer acquisition or a similar customer-facing role.
• Confidence initiating outbound telephone conversations and building rapport quickly.
• Strong questioning, listening and qualification skills, with the ability to identify genuine customer needs.
• The ability to communicate service benefits clearly, professionally and persuasively.
• Experience working to activity, conversion and revenue targets.
• Strong organisational, follow-up and time-management skills.
• Experience using a CRM or customer-management system, with excellent attention to detail.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
• The ability to work effectively in a structured, office-based and target-driven sales environment.
