About the role

• Provide high-quality back-end administrative support for a statewide 24/7 Alcohol & Drug Contact Centre, helping ensure the service operates smoothly and effectively.
• Coordinate rostering, payroll and finance administration, including maintaining staff rosters, processing approved changes and liaising with Payroll regarding pay and leave enquiries.
• Maintain and update the statewide Contact Centre database, service information, referral pathways and educational resources used by counsellors to support service delivery.
• Support data entry, reporting, audits, quality improvement, recruitment, training records and staff performance processes, as well as various administrative projects and ad-hoc tasks.
• Work collaboratively as part of the Inner-City Health Administration team, supporting Alcohol & Drug, Mental Health and Homeless Health services and providing administrative support to managers and clinical teams.

About you

• Strong computer literacy, with experience using Word, spreadsheets, databases, email and electronic information systems, including HR and payroll systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a range of stakeholders.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and work independently.
• Experience working in a healthcare setting, with an understanding of client administration systems and the ability to work sensitively with vulnerable clients and carers while maintaining confidentiality.
• A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development, with a willingness to learn and contribute positively as part of a team.
