About the Role:
Are you passionate about food safety, quality excellence and continuous improvement? As our Quality Officer at Huntingwood, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality and food safety standards while partnering closely with manufacturing teams to drive improvements across the site.
What your days look like:
Lead daily QA activities including line walks, testing and calibration
Manage finished product holds, releases, rework and investigations
Drive quality improvement plans to reduce complaints and improve GMP
Support audits, compliance programs and quality management systems
Coach operators and team leaders on food safety and quality standards
Partner with Operations and cross-functional teams on CI initiatives
The Ingredients for Success:
Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role;
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Science or similar
Experience in Quality Assurance within FMCG, food or pharma manufacturing
Strong understanding of HACCP, quality systems and auditing practices
Proven ability to influence, coach and build stakeholder relationships
Analytical mindset with experience investigating issues and driving improvements
Strong communication skills with confidence working across multiple teams
