We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused Casual Pool Shop Assistants to join our team across our Perth metropolitan and regional stores throughout our busiest time of year.

About the Role

As a Casual Pool Shop Assistant, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while helping customers keep their pools healthy, safe and ready to enjoy.

You'll work as part of a friendly, high-energy team, providing expert advice, assisting with water testing, recommending products, maintaining store presentation and supporting day-to-day store operations.

Every day is different, and you'll enjoy a role that keeps you active, engaged and working with people.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver outstanding customer service in-store, over the phone and via email.

• Test pool water and provide practical advice on pool care products.

• Recommend pool chemicals, equipment, accessories and maintenance solutions.

• Process sales, click-and-collect orders and assist customers with loading purchases.

• Replenish stock and maintain high merchandising and presentation standards.

• Receive deliveries and safely put stock away.

• Assist with general warehouse and store duties.

• Safely handle pool chemicals and products (full training and PPE provided).

• Work collaboratively with your team to deliver a great customer experience.

About You

You'll enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude and thrive in a busy retail environment.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• A willingness to learn new skills and product knowledge.

• Basic computer skills.

• The ability to regularly lift products up to 25kg.

• Reliable transport and the flexibility to work across multiple store locations when required.

Availability Requirements

As this is a peak season role, applicants must be fully available from 1 September through to 31 March, including:

• Every weekend.

• Public holidays.

• The Christmas and New Year period.

• School holiday periods.

These are essential requirements for this position.

Highly Regarded

• Previous retail, customer service or warehouse experience.

• Pool or spa industry experience.

• Pool water testing or chemistry knowledge.

• A current WA driver's licence.
