Receptionist

About the role

You'll be an important part of our office team and one of the friendly faces welcoming customers when they walk through the door. Pioneer Kitchens is a proudly locally owned and operated kitchen and joinery supplier, servicing builders and private customers across Canberra and surrounding areas. With over 30 years of experience, we're passionate about creating high-quality, custom-made kitchens and joinery that work beautifully with our customers' homes and lives.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers

• Answering phones and responding to enquiries

• General office administration

• Basic Excel and Word tasks

• Data entry and keeping things organised

• Supporting the team with day-to-day office tasks

• Providing friendly and helpful customer service

About you

• Friendly, positive and enthusiastic

• Confident and comfortable talking with customers

• Reliable and has a strong work ethic

• Well presented and professional

• Organised with excellent attention to detail

• A great communicator with a friendly phone manner

• Comfortable using computers, including basic Excel and Word

• Able to follow direction and work well within a team

• Previous customer service or office experience is a bonus, but not essential

• Experience with MYOB is a bonus, but not essential – we can teach you
