About The Role
Location: Metro Melbourne, with regular travel to metro and regional sites
Role type: Part-time, 0.8 FTE, ongoing, with flexibility across working days
Remuneration: $133,596.41 inclusive of 12% superannuation, pro rata
As the Injury Management and Workers Compensation Consultant, you will help employees navigate safe, supported and sustainable return-to-work pathways. You will manage workers’ compensation claims from end to end, coordinate injury management planning, and provide practical advice across both work-related and non-work-related injury matters.
This is a hands-on role with real variety and impact. You will work closely with managers, employees, insurers, medical providers, and WorkCover to support positive outcomes, while contributing to a safe, supportive and effective workplace. You will be part of a close-knit and highly experienced team that values autonomy and collaboration with strong manager support.
What We Are Looking For
Experience in workers’ compensation, injury management, and return-to-work coordinationConfidence working with managers, employees, insurers, medical providers and WorkCoverThe ability to manage complex matters, resolve issues and support changes where injury management impacts teamsSound analytical skills, with confidence using information and data to support decisions and recommendationsA self-managed approach, with the ability to plan, prioritise and work autonomouslyThe ability to work effectively with people from diverse professional, social and personal backgroundsAn allied health, rehabilitation, insurance or related background will be highly regardedAn accredited return to work course is preferred
