This innovation spans the entire health information management lifecycle - from documentation improvement and code finding to auditing, autonomous coding, and real-time analytics - enabling smarter, data-driven workflows that help health systems achieve better patient outcomes and secure appropriate funding.

We are seeking a Product Specialist to join our growing team of HIMs, clinical coders, product innovators, and data technology specialists. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping Beamtree’s end-to-end coding platform, acting as a subject matter expert, feature lead, client facing advisor, and product champion.

This is a remote role, with some travel required to client offices around Australia and our head office in Sydney.

What You’ll Do

• Provide subject matter expertise across Beamtree’s coding products
• Product Feature Lead for core enhancements, defining the scope, workflows, user experience, and content, and acting as the primary champion for the feature throughout its lifecycle
• Support roadmap decisions by capturing, synthesising, communicating client feedback and market trends
• Drive product implementation, optimisation, training and ongoing support
• Support clients with product related queries to ensure maximum use from their coding solutions
• Deliver engaging product demonstrations, discovery workshops and presentations
• Build and harness strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to coding managers, HIMs and clinicians.
• Attend Industry events, showcasing Beamtree’s Coding Products, deliver workshops and support with client presentations
• Conduct ICD-10-AM coding audits and quality reviews
• Create user guides, training materials, and release documentation
• Stay up to date with IHACPA guidelines and coding standards
• Development and curation of autonomous coding rules and classification logic, coding indicators and quality metrics

What You’ll Bring

• Must have a Masters or Bachelor in Health Information Management or Clinical Coding qualifications
• Must have current clinical coding ICD-10-AM 13th edition experience, preferably audit experience with ICD-10-AM 13th Edition.
• Eligible for HIMAA full membership
• 5–10 years’ experience in HIM/clinical coding
• Auditing qualifications (La Trobe University or equivalent highly desirable)
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-AM and Activity Based Funding
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Willingness to travel within Australia (optional overseas travel)
