About the role
We're looking for an OT legend to join our team!
Someone who genuinely loves what they do, values quality over quantity, enjoys mentoring others, and wants to help shape the future of a growing practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist who enjoys both clinical work and leadership.
Little Tree Kids Therapy is a small therapist-owned and operated Paediatric Occupational Therapy practice based on the northern Gold Coast. We are passionate about helping children and their families thrive, and we believe that exceptional therapy starts by investing in exceptional therapists.
You'll work directly with children and families across both clinic and community settings while also playing an important role in supporting the growth and development of our team.
Your responsibilities will include:
🌳Delivering high-quality, evidence-informed Occupational Therapy services to children and families.
🌳Completing comprehensive assessments, reports and intervention planning.
🌳Working collaboratively with families, schools, educators and other professionals.
🌳Providing clinical supervision and mentoring to therapists within the team.
🌳Delivering in-service training and contributing to therapist upskilling initiatives.
🌳Supporting the development of clinical resources, systems and service delivery improvements.
🌳Contributing to leadership projects and helping shape the future direction of the practice.
🌳Promoting a positive, supportive and collaborative team culture.
We're looking for someone who:
Has extensive experience working within paediatric occupational therapy.
Demonstrates strong clinical reasoning and evidence-informed practice.
Is passionate about helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.
Enjoys supporting, mentoring and developing other therapists.
Has excellent communication and leadership skills.
Is proactive, organised and enjoys contributing ideas for continual improvement.
Values teamwork, kindness and collaboration.
Wants to be part of something bigger than simply turning up to work each day.
What you can expect:
A maximum of 4 therapy sessions per day because we believe therapists need time to think, plan, collaborate and deliver exceptional therapy, not rush from client to client.
No KPI model. Ever.
A generous professional development budget to help you pursue the areas you're passionate about.
Regular therapist upskilling sessions, clinical workshops and in-service training.
Regular access to supervision and mentoring.
Comprehensive therapy planning and goal-setting systems that help therapists feel confident, organised and well-prepared.
A range of assessments, therapy resources and equipment so you have the tools you need to do your job well.
We understand that life exists outside of work. We encourage flexibility, support working from home between sessions where appropriate, and trust you to manage your time.
A laptop and mobile phone will be provided, so you have everything you need to stay connected, organised and productive.
A welcoming team who genuinely enjoy working together. We laugh a lot, support one another, celebrate wins together and love getting together for team lunches, social events and community initiatives.
An incentive program that rewards therapists who consistently go above and beyond expectations.
If you're looking for a workplace where you'll be trusted, valued and well supported, we'd love to hear from you!
