About The Role
As an editor for International SOS, the role would be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of our 24/7 global security and medical intelligence content in a proactive, engaging, and expressive manner whilst working in a multi-cultural environment and opportunities to work with a global team. Five Shifts per seven days according to shift schedule as appropriate.
Work with a global editorial team alongside Security and Medical professionalsWork 5 shifts a week on a 7-day rotating roster between 7am-6pm
Key Responsibilities
Edit and publish security content in line with quality and service delivery standards.Draft short advisories to notify clients of breaking security and medical events worldwide.Work on content-related projects.Ensure consistency of security content against global and country thresholds, and across membership service lines.Provide high-quality editorial assistance to the security and medical operation, guiding reporting consistency, priorities, and coverage.Facilitate the development and training of regional security specialists and assist with client queries/feedback on security content.
About You
High proficiency in copy-editing, proofreading, and strong attention to detailExceptional written and verbal communication in English, with experience in content management systems and MS Office.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesExperience working with diverse teams in cross-cultural or remote contexts, and writing for a business audienceMinimum of 2-3 years of editorial experience, preferably in news or current affairs. International experience is desirable.Degree in journalism, politics, international relations, or related fieldsMultimedia and content development experience is desirableFull working rights in AustraliaBe based in Sydney and able to commute to office site
