Field Account Manager - SA & WA

About the roleNew England Biolabs (NEB) is a world leader in the discovery and production of enzymes for molecular biology applications. Renowned for consistently providing exceptional product quality and unsurpassed technical support, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, science-driven individual to join our passionate ANZ team.This is a customer-facing role with 80% of your time spent in the field working with a variety of scientists across South Australia and Western Australia to drive market growth. As the first point of contact for our academic, government and industrial customers, you will be a vibrant, energetic individual with a deep-rooted scientific curiosity and a drive to succeed. Key Responsibilities:Develop strong customer relationships through in-depth understanding of their research needs, providing front line technical and sales support.Expand NEB’s reputation within universities, research institutes and biotech.Work closely with the ANZ Sales Manager and Business Development Manager to implement strategic business plans and drive revenue growth throughout the territory.Provide feedback on customer projects, opportunity pipeline and market trends.Maintain a customer database with appropriate contacts and opportunities.Organise and present scientific & educational seminars.Attend local and national scientific conferences.Participate in local and international training programs.
Required Qualifications and ExperiencePostgraduate qualification in cell & molecular biology.Technical expertise in cloning, qPCR and cell biology techniques. Experience with NGS Library Preparation workflows would be highly regarded.Proven commercial or sales experience in life sciences would be advantageous.Excellent communication and ability to build positive professional relationships.Knowledge of NEB and CST products, methodologies and markets.Innate drive to succeed, highly disciplined and self-motivated. Demonstrate exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills.Ability to deliver training and seminars tailored to the audience needs.Willingness to travel locally, domestically and internationally.You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to be considered.
