About us

Access Markets has spent 40+ years in elevated work platforms —selling, servicing and Sub -hiring scissor lifts, boom lifts and access equipment. With established branches in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, we're now growing our Perth depot and want the right person to run it.

About the role

This is a self-managing role. You'll own the x-hire desk and customer relationships right across WA, with a national team backing you. If you know access gear, enjoy the phones, and can grow a rental company customer base, this is your chance to build something and run it your way.

What you'll be doing

•     Running the x-hire desk end to end — enquiries, quotes, bookings, off-hires and extensions

•     Managing fleet availability and utilisation, and coordinating with the workshop on servicing and machine readiness

•     Scheduling deliveries and pickups with transport

•     Building and growing relationships with key accounts across the rental industry.

•     Reactivating dormant accounts and chasing new business across the region

•     Owning hire contracts, damage/loss processes and account follow-ups

•     Being the face of the business in WA — the first point of contact for customers

What you'll bring

•     Experience in equipment hire — Access/EWP industry highly regarded

•     Solid knowledge of scissor lifts, boom lifts and access equipment (specs, applications, working heights)

•     A relationship-builder who can also run a tight desk

•     A self-starter comfortable owning a region with minimal oversight

•     Confident on the phone and across quoting/hire systems

•     Current driver's license
