Towns Security are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice security technician who is ready to hit the tools and start their career. 

You will be undergoing Certificate III in Security Equipment working throughout Queensland.

As we service large clients there will be some travel to Cairns and Townsville, so it is essential that you are flexible and happy to travel.

This is a regional Queensland job, it will require travel throughout your apprenticeship.

Duties will involve: 

• Commercial alarm systems
• Closed circuit camera systems (CCTV)
• Data cabling 
• Access controls
• Phone points
• Intercom systems
• Some residential alarm systems

To be successful you will need to have the following:

• Have current driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Have a high level of attention to detail
• White card
• Willing to learn and work hard 
• Have a general interest in security and electronic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and be well presented
