About the Role:
 
Reporting to the Site Maintenance Supervisor this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team.  You will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance, diagnosing engine & machine system problems, repairing & overhauling diesel engines and components on a large mobile fleet with experience working on CAT & Komatsu Heavy Earthmoving equipment is essential.
 
Roster & Location: 5 days on 2 days off (Mon to Fri) based at the Alcoa Pinjarra Refinery
 
About you:

• Hold a Nationally recognised Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology
• Previous experience servicing and maintaining heavy earthmoving machinery
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic and fault-finding experience
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and manuals
• Current WA Drivers Licence (HR desirable)
• Safety focused mindset with a solid work ethic
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

Desirable:

• HRWL - LF, WP, CN, DG
• Work safely at heights
• Previous experience with Pronto
• Certificate II in Automotive air conditioning technology
