About the opportunity
Working a 2:2 roster from Perth, Altrad are seeking an experienced Project Administrator to join our Pilbara-based project. This pivotal role sits at the heart of site operations, providing critical support to the leadership team, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless communication across site teams and contractors. With a mix of responsibility, variety, and hands-on involvement, this position offers the chance to make a real impact on project success.
In this role, you will:
Coordinate site travel, logistics, site visits, and onboarding in support of the Perth-based Planning and Mobilisation Coordinator.
Provide administrative support to the leadership team, including preparation of meeting materials, presentations, reports, and correspondence.
Manage maintenance work orders and contribute to site cost control by tracking current and planned expenditure.
Administer risk management documentation and assist with critical site reporting requirements.
Perform general data entry, filing, archiving, and document preparation as needed.
Support operational processes such as room bookings, new starter packs, access credentials (e.g; gate cards, IVMS), fuel keys, and cab charges.
Liaise with site contractors, operational staff, and functional teams to ensure smooth and effective communication.
Provide guidance or coaching on administrative processes where required.
Undertake additional duties aligned with your skills and experience to support project success.

About you
You’re a proactive, collaborative, and results-driven professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys contributing to meaningful outcomes.
Demonstrated experience in project-focused administration, ideally within a contracting or construction environment.
Experience as a Project Administrator.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); experience with SharePoint is advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
Flexible and collaborative team player, yet able to work independently when required.
Current C Class manual driver’s license.
Ability to pass a project-specific pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
