Truck & Dog Driver

About the role:

We’re currently looking for skilled and motivated Truck and Dog Drivers to join our team.

You’ll operate a Truck & Dog combination vehicle to deliver bulk materials working on a variety of local and regional hauls. This role requires strong compliance, flexibility with changing schedules, and a customer-first mindset. You’ll be supported by a professional and safety-focused team and operate a well-maintained fleet.

Main Responsibilities:

• Completing prestart and other operational checklists and administrative paperwork

• Complying with fatigue management and road rules and regulations

• Complying with mass management as per NHVR guidelines

• Delivering loads to customers both internal and external in a professional and timely manner

Tipping experience is essential. If you don't have tipping experience driving Truck and Dogs, please do not apply.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a current HC License with proven Truck and Dog tipping experience (essential)

• Be confident operating Road Ranger gearboxes and automatic

• Willing to stay in the truck overnight for regional and interstate jobs

• Able to pass a company driver competency test

• Have a construction industry white card

• A clean driving record and be able to provide a copy.

• Be Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) trained (preferred)

• Be computer literate – confident with Samsung tablet, truck scales & electronic work diary

• Have clear communication and work as part of a team.

• Able to complete a pre-employment medical (including drug, alcohol & fitness to Drive)

• Take pride in their truck – keeps the cab clean and tidy
