Our client is a boutique public practice accounting firm that works closely with small and medium-sized businesses across South East Queensland, providing taxation, accounting and business advisory services. Rather than focusing on high-volume compliance, the firm partners with clients to help them grow, giving you exposure to meaningful work and long-term client relationships.

They're now looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join their growing remote team. You'll prepare financial statements, tax returns and BAS, while supporting a range of tax and business advisory engagements for quality business clients. Although the firm has a Gold Coast office, the entire team works remotely, with regular daily catch-ups to stay connected and supported.

To succeed in this role, you'll have 2–4 years' Australian public practice experience, be CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion, and be confident using Xero. You'll enjoy working independently, be comfortable with technology, and thrive in a collaborative remote environment. Previous remote working experience and Xero certification will be highly regarded.
