Facility Production Manager

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to take over the lead of our manufacturing facility.

The Role
You will manage daily factory operations, optimize production workflows, and lead the production team. Your goal is to ensure high-quality output, maintain safety compliance, and meet production targets efficiently, all with a view to continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end factory production schedules to meet customer demand.

• Lead, mentor, and schedule the factory production team.

• Optimize manufacturing processes to reduce waste and lower costs.

• Ensure all finished goods meet quality control benchmarks.

• Manage the timely and accurate fulfilment of orders.

• Oversee inventory levels, raw material ordering, and stock control.

• Maintain and troubleshoot factory machinery and production equipment.

• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) standards.

Requirements

• Experience as a Production Manager or Supervisor in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Strong people management skills with the ability to build a positive, high performing team.

• Solid understanding of production metrics, KPIs, and waste reduction.

• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and compliance.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.

• Experience in agricultural, chemical, or environmental manufacturing is a plus.
