Junior Finance Analyst – Operations & Supply Chain

We're looking for a Junior Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team and play a key role in delivering financial reporting, analysis, and insights that support our Operations and Supply Chain teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–2 years' post-qualification experience looking to develop their career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Working closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders, you'll help identify key cost drivers, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and deliver meaningful insights that enable informed business decisions and drive operational performance.

What’s the Scoop?

• Prepare monthly financial reporting, analysis, and commentary across Operations and Supply Chain.
• Analyse key cost drivers including labour, waste, freight, warehousing, distribution, and manufacturing performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and financial performance reviews.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and financial models to improve business insights and decision-making.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT teams to improve reporting accuracy, data integrity, and process efficiency.
• Track and report on continuous improvement, productivity, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Assist with capital expenditure analysis, business cases, payback calculations, and post-implementation reviews.
• Support S&OP reporting and provide financial insights to enhance operational and supply chain performance.
• Contribute to ad hoc analysis, NPD initiatives, tenders, and strategic business projects.
• Leverage AI and digital tools to improve reporting efficiency, analytical capability, and insight generation while maintaining strong data governance.

What You’ll Bring:

We're looking for someone who is analytical, curious and keen to learn.

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Approximately 1–2 years' experience in finance, accounting or financial analysis
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret data.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business.
• A desire to continue developing your commercial finance career (CA/CPA studies commenced or willingness to undertake them is highly regarded).
• Experience within manufacturing, supply chain or FMCG is advantageous but not essential.
