Sales Staff (Front Counter / Retail)

Tyrepower Bathurst is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Staff member to join our front-of-house team and play a key role in delivering outstanding customer experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in the automotive industry, and takes pride in providing accurate advice, clear communication, and professional service.

About the Role

As a Sales Staff member, you will be the first point of contact for customers, managing enquiries, preparing quotes, and coordinating closely with the workshop to ensure a smooth and timely service experience.

You will help customers choose the right tyres and services for their vehicles while promoting Tyrepower Bathurst’s product range, offers, and value-added services

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting suitable tyres and services

• Prepare and process quotes, invoices, and job cards accurately

• Manage bookings and liaise with workshop staff to meet deadlines

• Promote current promotions, offers, and additional services

• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and follow-ups professionally

• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming front counter and waiting area

Skills & Experience

• Strong communication skills with a confident, customer-focused approach

• Proven sales ability or experience in a retail or service environment

• Basic automotive knowledge (tyres, servicing, wheel alignments preferred)

• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment

• Computer literacy and experience using POS or booking systems

• Friendly, professional, and reliable work ethic
