MMB Electrical Services is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our site team.

This is a full-time role working primarily across commercial mechanical electrical projects throughout Perth, with occasional remote work. You’ll be involved in the installation, connection, testing and commissioning of equipment including pumps, fans, air-conditioning units, VSDs, switchboards and BMS controls.

Based in Wangara, MMB Electrical delivers electrical, mechanical electrical, switchboard manufacturing and building automation and control solutions for commercial and industrial projects throughout Western Australia.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
• Electrical installation across commercial and mechanical services projects
• Rough-in, fit-off and termination of pumps, fans, air-conditioning units, VSDs and switchboards
• BMS and control wiring
• Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings
• Testing, commissioning and fault finding
• Coordinating with mechanical contractors and other site teams
• Completing work safely and in accordance with relevant standards
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area

About You
You will have:
• A current WA Electrical Licence
• At least two years of commercial electrical experience
• Experience working on commercial construction or mechanical services projects
• The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 and site safety requirements
• A current White Card
• Current CPR certification
• A valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to undertake occasional remote work
• A reliable, proactive and team-focused approach

Experience with VSDs, pumps, fans, HVAC equipment, BMS or control wiring will be highly regarded.

Current LVR, EWP and Working at Heights qualifications are desirable.
