SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – TOOWOOMBA – ESTABLISHED MULTI-SERVICE FIRM – $90K–$110K + BENEFITS (JOB ID 1637)

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accountant ready to take ownership of a portfolio, engage directly with clients and contribute to both compliance and advisory outcomes within a supportive and forward-moving team environment.
The Role:
Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns across a range of entity types
Work directly with clients to gather information, resolve queries and provide practical advice
Participate in client meetings and build strong ongoing relationships
Support preparation of budgets, cashflow forecasts and management reporting
Identify advisory opportunities and contribute to value-added client solutions
Apply tax legislation to intermediate and complex matters
Assist with business advisory projects including structures, planning and improvements
Contribute to improving client outcomes through proactive recommendations
About You:
3–5 years’ experience in public practice or professional services
CA or CPA qualified, or actively working towards completion
Strong understanding of Australian taxation and compliance requirements
Experience with Xero, MYOB or similar accounting software
Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach
Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Analytical, proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
