We’re looking for a passionate Diploma Qualified Educator / Room Leader who loves working with children under three and is ready to lead a room, build meaningful relationships and grow their career in early childhood education.

As our Lead Educator, you’ll take ownership of your room and play an important role in creating a warm, engaging and inspiring environment for children.

You will:

• Lead your room with confidence, creating a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Plan and deliver meaningful learning experiences inspired by our Reggio Emilia approach.
• Support children under three to develop confidence, independence, curiosity and a love of learning.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families and your fellow educators.
• Create engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments that encourage exploration and discovery.
• Observe, document and reflect on children's learning and development.
• Support your team to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care.
• Work collaboratively with the Centre Leadership Team to maintain a high standard of practice.
• Champion child safety, wellbeing and inclusion in everything you do.

We’d love to hear from passionate Early Childhood Educators, Diploma Educators, Room Leaders and Lead Educators who are ready to take the next step in their career.

You’ll bring:

• An ACECQA-approved Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Experience working with children under three / toddlers.
• Previous experience as a Lead Educator, Room Leader or senior educator is highly regarded.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting children's learning and development.
• Confidence leading a room and working collaboratively with a team.
• A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and commitment to high-quality practice.
• An interest in, or understanding of, Reggio Emilia-inspired learning.
• A strong commitment to child safety, wellbeing and inclusion.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
• A current Working with Children Check.
• Mandatory Reporting and National Child Safety Training completion.
• Australian working rights.
