Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly competant and experienced Dental Assistant to join our professional and friendly team at Maroubra Family Dental.

We are a modern and well established private practice providing a comprehensive range of treatment emphasising in restorative, cosmetic, orthodontics, implant dentistry and perio treatment in a comfortble and friendly environment.

This is a long term position, 2 days a week on a Thursday and Friday.

What we are looking for:

* Experience as a Dental Assistant is essential

* Previous experience in a high pace environment and the ability to work collaboratively with our experienced and supportive team

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with patients of all ages

* Have an empathetic and caring approach to all patients

* A warm and friendly personalty with a positive attitude at all times

* Reliable, punctual, honest and well presented at all times

* Proficient in computer skills and experence in D4W preferred

About the role:

* Part time position, Thursday and Fridays

* Chairside assisting for a wide range of procedures including cosmetic, restorative, orthodontics and surgical treatments

* Preparing and maintaining instruments, equipment and treatment rooms to the highest standard

* Greeting patients warmly and making patients feel valued and cared for
