Contracts Administrator

Our client is a well-established Tier 2 commercial builder with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects across WA. With an exciting pipeline of work and a diverse portfolio spanning government, healthcare, education, commercial, aged care, defence, sports and recreation, refurbishments and new builds, they continue to deliver some of WA’s standout projects.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for Contracts Administrators to join their team.

About the Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity for a Contracts Administrator looking to take the next step in their career or an experienced CA wanting to join a builder with a strong pipeline of work.

You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and wider project team, taking responsibility for the commercial and contractual administration of projects from commencement through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage contracts and subcontractor agreements
• Prepare, review and administer subcontractor documentation
• Manage variations, progress claims and payment schedules
• Assist with procurement and subcontractor negotiations
• Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance
• Manage contractual correspondence and documentation
• Assist with project reporting and forecasting
• Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, consultants and subcontractors
• Support the successful commercial delivery of projects

About You We’re interested in speaking with Contracts Administrators across all levels of experience, including Junior, Intermediate and Senior CAs.
You will ideally have:

• Experience within commercial construction
• Strong understanding of contracts and subcontractor management
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Relevant construction, building or commercial qualification is advantageous
