About the role
About Nova
At Nova Dental Group, we’re changing lives through advanced dental implant and restorative treatment, delivered with compassion, professionalism and excellence.
We’re a growing, patient-focused organisation with a strong focus on clinical quality, innovation and creating an exceptional experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Clinical Coordinator to join our Loganholme practice in a newly created full-time role.
This is a hands-on senior position focused on creating structure and consistency across our back-of-house clinical operations, with a particular focus on implant surgery, sedation and complex patient care.
You’ll work closely with our clinicians, Treatment Coordinators, Dental Assistants, sterilisation team, anaesthetic providers and laboratories to ensure patients are well prepared and supported throughout their treatment.
You’ll coordinate daily clinical and surgical schedules, lead clinical huddles, organise surgical set-ups and ensure our treatment rooms are fully prepared and operational. You’ll also oversee implant inventory and consignment, laboratory workflows, sterilisation processes, instrument tracking, clinical stock and equipment.
A key part of the role will be ensuring our sedation and implant patients are clinically ready for treatment, including checking records, imaging, medical histories, treatment plans and consent documentation are complete.
As this is a newly created role, you’ll also have the opportunity to help shape how our back-of-house clinical processes operate. You’ll identify opportunities to improve workflows, introduce practical systems and help create consistency across the team.
You’ll provide day-to-day support and guidance to the clinical team, helping with onboarding, training and maintaining high standards of clinical care and compliance.
About You
You’ll be an experienced dental professional who is highly organised, calm under pressure and confident working in a busy surgical environment.
You’ll bring:
A Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting, practice management experience or formal infection-control training will be highly regarded.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys being organised, supporting their team and finding better ways of doing things. As this is a new role, you’ll have the opportunity to help build processes that make a genuine difference to the clinical team and patient experience.
Apply
If you’re an experienced dental professional looking for a senior role where you can use your clinical knowledge, support your team and help create a well-organised clinical environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Apply online with your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience.
