The Role
Due to continued growth and expansion of our Queensland operations, we are looking for experienced Drillers (Geotechnical) and Drilling Offsiders.
Based in Luscombe, successful candidates will join a strong local team and will be members of the broader QEST Drilling team located in Victoria and South Australia.
Working between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, this position will work on a variety of construction and site-based projects.
Role requirements:
Safe and efficient operation of all plant, equipment, and vehicles.
Collaborate with Clients/Project Managers/Engineers as required to achieve project objectives and ensuring a quality experience for the QEST the customer.
Conduct equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Adhere to all Company and legislative WHS policies and procedures.
Ability to work extended hours and travel away from home from time to time.
About You
To be successful in this role, candidates will have:
Experience in similar roles of 2+ years.
Effective client management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
White Card.
Minimum MR Truck Licence.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and pass any/all ongoing, random drug and alcohol testing.
