About the role
St Mary's Anglican Girls' School is an independent day and boarding school for over 1500 girls from Kindergarten to Year 12. We provide girls with opportunities to pursue personal and academic excellence in a respectful and supportive environment.
We are now looking to secure positions within our Junior School for 2027 and invite enthusiastic and experienced Early Years teachers for the following primary classroom roles:
1 x fulltime 12 month fixed term position for an Early Years Teacher (K-2)
1 x fulltime 6 month fixed term position, responsible for teaching a lower school (Years 1 to 3) class
The successful applicants will plan and implement coherent, well sequenced teaching and learning programs that engage students and maximise learning, fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
Qualifications and experience for this role include:
Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
Early Years teaching experience.
Have a knowledge and understanding of the RULER program.
Have a knowledge and understanding of the Science of Learning.
Knowledge and understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum.
These roles commence 19 January 2027.
