The City of Salisbury is seeking an enthusiastic and community-minded Community Shed and Garden Facilitator in a part-time (0.8 FTE) capacity for a 3-year fixed term contract to coordinate the day-to-day operations of The Hive Community Shed and Garden.
Reporting to the Team Leader Community Diversity and Inclusion, you will create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment that fosters social connection, lifelong learning, wellbeing, skill sharing and community participation. Working closely with volunteers, participants, community groups and Council staff, you will deliver engaging activities that encourage people to learn new skills, build confidence, develop relationships and strengthen their connection to the community.

Eligibility
A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and relevant screening clearances are required for this position.
This role requires flexibility to support community participation activities, including working one Saturday per month and occasional out-of-hours community events and programs.
