Co-Educator (Student Support), ELC – Casual Position

• $40 per hour plus Superannuation

Christ Church Grammar School is seeking a caring, reliable and engaging Co-Educator to provide one-on-one support to an ELC student.

This is a casual position offering up to 15 hours per week, with flexible days and hours to suit both the successful applicant and the needs of the student.

About the Role

Working closely with classroom teachers and the School's Learning Support team, you will:

Provide individual support to a student in the classroom and other learning environments.

Assist the student to engage positively in learning and school activities.

Encourage independence, confidence and social participation.

Support the implementation of learning and wellbeing strategies as directed by teaching staff.

About You

The successful applicant will:

A strong interest and/or experience working with children (education, childcare, disability support or a related field is desirable).

Be patient, compassionate and able to build positive relationships with children.

Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Be reliable, flexible and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
