Surrounded by nature, outdoor adventures and some of the region’s best local produce, this is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who loves good food, great produce and country hospitality.
We are looking for a dedicated “foodie” Head Chef who is passionate about their craft, takes pride in quality and enjoys leading a kitchen team.
About the Role
You will take an active role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, working closely with the team and venue management to deliver consistently high-quality food and smooth service.
You’ll have the opportunity to bring your ideas to the menu, work with local produce and help shape the food offering of a well-established regional venue.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain menus, specials and recipes.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and portion control.

Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised and running efficiently.
Work closely with venue management and front-of-house teams.
Lead the kitchen through busy service periods.
Create a positive, professional and team-focused kitchen culture.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced chef who is:
Proven in a Head Chef, Sous Chef or senior kitchen role.
A confident and supportive leader who enjoys developing a team.
Passionate about food, local produce and quality.
Experienced in menu development and kitchen operations.
Strong in food costing, stock control and waste management.
Highly knowledgeable in food safety and kitchen standards.
Able to remain calm, organised and hands-on during busy services.
Reliable, professional and a strong communicator.
Excited about the opportunity to live and work in a regional environment.
What We Offer
$95,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience.
Full-time, permanent position.
The opportunity to lead and develop your own kitchen team.
A beautiful regional location just 90 minutes from Melbourne.
Access to outstanding local produce and a unique country lifestyle.
The opportunity to bring your creativity and ideas to the menu.
