Site Lead (Civils)

The company provides end-to-end solutions in access, transit and wireless telecommunications networks. We offer the installation and maintenance services, supported by strong project management skills.

We currently have a fulltime Site Lead (Civils) position available, based in Dandenong South, Victoria.

Role Responsibilities:

The Site Lead (Civils) will oversee and coordinate civil construction projects within the telecommunications industry. This role is crucial for ensuring that all site operations are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. The Site Lead (Civils) will coordinate with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes that align with the Comstar Systems objectives and client expectations.

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

Experience in Civil Construction or Building, in particular Telecommunications new site delivery (Greenfield Builds) or equivalent onsite knowledge and experience;

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of construction principles as applicable to the construction industry;
• Experience in leading large scale / mass concrete footings;
• White Card;
• Demonstrated understanding of general concepts of mechanical/electrical engineering;
• QEHS awareness and compliance for sites in a similar environment;
• Experience in providing on site company presentation in diverse and technically challenging fields and locations;
• Record keeping of Quality documentation for task (i.e. ITP, Checklists, SOS packs, photos);
• Person In Charge of Site (PICW) knowledge and demonstrated experience;
• Ability to travel nationally and work away from home for extended periods of time
• Manual Driver’s Licence

Qualifications Desirable:

• Medium rigid truck licence (or the ability to obtain this licence); and
• Strong administration and time management skills.
