About the role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales across your allocated territory, Gympie in the south, Roma to the west and Cairns FNQ and all areas in between. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who understands the outdoor power equipment (OPE), hardware, agricultural or related industries and enjoys building strong customer relationships while driving sales growth.
Key responsibilities
Managing and developing existing dealer and customer relationships
Identifying and winning new business opportunities
Achieving agreed sales and revenue targets
Promoting and introducing new products and ranges
Conducting regular customer visits, product demonstrations and sales presentations
Providing product knowledge and support to dealers and their sales teams
Increasing product representation, merchandising and market share
Monitoring competitor activity and identifying market opportunities
Preparing sales forecasts, reports and territory plans
Attending field days, trade shows and dealer events
About you
Proven experience in territory, field or account-based sales
Experience within outdoor power equipment, hardware, agricultural equipment or a related industry
Experience with OPE spare parts and Completed units including battery
Existing dealer/distributor relationships would be highly regarded
A demonstrated history of achieving sales targets
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Excellent time management and territory planning abilities
Commercial awareness and a strong customer focus
The confidence to identify new opportunities and open new accounts
A current Australian driver's licence
The flexibility and willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory
