Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Grade 1 or 2 Occupational Therapists to join our acute inpatient team.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
The OT department at Northern Health prides itself on being inclusive, supportive and committed to evidence-based practice. We are a team of OT's who are driven by positive patient outcomes and team work.
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 1 or 2 Occupational Therapist to join our team at Northern Health. The role involves working in a fast-paced acute hospital setting that provides a high-level clinical service to a variety of acute inpatients. Based predominately on the acute general medical wards, you will work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team to facilitate dynamic discharge plans that are patient centred care and support access and flow throughout the health service.
This is a full-time fixed term (maternity leave) position until 29 January 2027 and is based at our Epping Campus.
