Maintenance Fitter (Afternoon Shift)

The Role

Our Carole Park based factory is looking for an experienced fitter to support our thriving manufacturing facility. This role will support major project activity through modifying and building machinery. 

This position is a afternoon shift role Monday to Friday working a 2 pm to 10 pm shift, please note during training this shift will work 7 am - 3 pm.

Hourly Pay Rate:

$49.69 per hour plus shift and additional allowances such as shift and tool allowance.

Requirements

• Tertiary Qualification in Fitting (Mandatory Requirement) 

• Previous experience in a Maintenance role (Desirable)

Experience in general Mechanical Repairs to a wide range of machinery including:

• Pneumatics

• Hydraulics

• General fitting and machining

• Ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously.

• Flexibility to meet production demands

• Good problem solving / Diagnostic ability

• Good communication skills

• Possess Good housekeeping and 5S understanding

• Relevant qualification in fitting 

• Must have high standards and attitude towards EH&S in the Workplace.

• Willingness to wear required PPE 

Welding TIG & MIG will be highly regarded, as the majority of the project work will be working with Stainless Steel. Experience with Pneumatics is also advantageous.
