Trades Assistant - General Hand

Plan B Engineering are a family owned and operated manufacturing business, we cover a wide and varied range of fabricated items, mechanical components as well as providing mechanical engineering services, including prototype mining equipment. * Immediate start - Trades Assistant/General Hand to join our growing team in Bibra Lake WA.

A diverse range of responsibilities with in-house training on plasma machine, role will include, but not be limited to;

• Predominantly the manufacturing of High Tensile mesh screens

• General assistance in the workshop

• Using press & guillotine for crusher Screens manufacturing

• Deliveries & pick-ups, loading & unloading

• Housekeeping

To be successful in this role, what you need are:

• Good communication skills

• Be a self-motivator and have a strong work ethic

• Committed to workplace health and safety

• Willing to undergo a drug and alcohol screening

• Current manual driver’s licence

• Current forklift ticket (desirable)

• Mature age (desirable), fit and healthy, to manage the physical demands of the work

Normal Workshop hours are from 6:00am – 3:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 6:00am – 2:30pm on Friday. Overtime available.
