The Position

REMEC is seeking expression of interest from qualified Industrial Services Technicians. This position will see you working in various Chevron and Woodside sites completing shutdown works, with mobilisation beginning in October 2026. Key duties and responsibilities include mechanical fitting duties, spade & de spade duties, flange management, heat exchanger strip and refit, QAQC of joints, use of client & CR HSE & Permit systems.

• Shutdown duration: approx. 4 weeks

• 12-hour shifts

• Day shift and night shift available

• RDO every 14 days

• PPE provided

• Opportunity for ongoing shutdown and project work

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Will be punctual, motivated and organised with good communication skills

• Will have a willingness to learn and a can-do attitude

• Will hold or be willing to obtain Construction Induction Safety Cert (white card)

• Will be able to complete site inductions as required

• Capable of working in hot conditions

• Capable of repetitive manual handling, carrying equipment and climbing stairs/elevated structures

Essential Requirements:

• Driver’s License – C Class is essential; however, HR is beneficial

• Gas Test Atmospheres

• USI Number

• Work Safely at Heights (RIIWHS204)

• Able to work within a team environment

• Primary focus and personal responsibility on Health and Safety
