We’re looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team at Kawana Dental.

We’re a busy, family-owned practice just minutes from Buddina Beach, and we’ve been looking after the Sunshine Coast community for nearly 40 years. More importantly though, we’ve built a team of genuinely good people who enjoy coming to work and supporting each other.

We know there are plenty of Dental Assistant jobs out there, so here’s what we think makes ours a little different.

What it’s like working here

Our team genuinely gets along, everyone pitches in, and there’s always someone around to help if you need it. We celebrate birthdays, work anniversaries, team wins, and occasionally survive the busy days together with a round of coffee's from our local!

If you’re full-time, you’ll work 38 hours across four days, giving you a regular day off each week to actually enjoy.

We’re also big on helping our team grow. Whether you’re experienced or looking to build on your skills, we’ll support you with training and opportunities to keep learning.

About the role

You’ll be working alongside our dentists and oral health therapists to help provide great care for our patients.

Your day will include things like:

• Chairside assisting

• Sterilisation and maintaining high infection control standards

• Preparing treatment rooms

• Helping patients feel comfortable and looked after

• Working together with the rest of our clinical team to keep the day running smoothly

Every day is a little different, which keeps things interesting.

We’d love to meet you if you:

• Have Dental Assisting experience (or are eager to continue developing your skills)

• Enjoy working as part of a team

• Are friendly, reliable and organised

• Love making patients feel welcome and comfortable

• Have a positive attitude and aren’t afraid to jump in wherever needed

• Are available for a 7:15am morning start and 5-6pm finish.

• Dental 4 Windows Knowledge a bonus.
