Crowd Controllers – Gold Coast

Safe Knight is currently hiring Crowd Controllers for licensed venues and events across the Gold Coast.

We are specifically looking for individuals who take reliability seriously. In our industry, turning up on time and showing up for your rosters is everything. If you are dependable, punctual, and looking for consistent casual work, we want you on our team.

This is a casual role with shifts covering nights, weekends, and public holidays.

What You'll Be Doing              

• Keeping venues, staff, and patrons safe and secure.

• Managing crowd entry, checking IDs, and monitoring the door professionally.

• Patrolling venue floors to monitor patron behaviour and alcohol consumption.

• Diffusing potential conflicts quickly, calmly, and professionally.

• Assisting venue management with RSA compliance and crowd management.

• Working closely with venue staff, emergency services, and the rest of your security team.

• Liaising with the Security Manager to provide feedback on venue operations and help improve overall security services.

• Providing detailed incident reports.

What We Need From You

• Absolute Reliability: You turn up on time, every time, and respect your rostered shifts.

• Licences: Current QLD Security Licence with Crowd Control function.

• Certifications: Current RSA, First Aid, and CPR certificates.

• Communication: Great customer service skills and the ability to keep a cool head under pressure.

• Reports: Ability to write clear, accurate and comprehensive reports.

• Fitness: Physically fit and comfortable standing for long periods.

• Bonus: A current Blue Card or previous security experience is a big plus.
