Medical Receptionist

About the role

We have full time and part time roles available.

As a Medical Administrator at Therapies for Kids', you will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth and efficient operations of our dedicated paediatric therapy practice. This full-time role is based in Sydney's Inner West.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client scheduling, maintain comprehensive medical records, and liaise with the clinical team

• Process NDIS and HICAPS claims

• Ensure data integrity across the practice management software

• Bank reconciliation

• Follow up on outstanding invoices

• Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and their families, addressing queries and concerns in a compassionate manner

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of office procedures and policies

About you

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical administrative role, preferably in a paediatric or allied health setting

• NDIS knowledge highly desirable

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers

• Proficiency in using practice management software and electronic medical record systems

• Familiarity with medical billing and insurance processing procedures

• A genuine interest in supporting the health and wellbeing of children

• Flexibility between 8am and 6pm
