Suicide Prevention Coordinator

HOPE Community Services has been supporting Western Australians for over 120 years, delivering services across alcohol and other drugs, mental health, justice, and family and domestic violence. Walking together with the community to restore hope and transforms lives across WA.  

The Goldfields Suicide Prevention Program is funded by the WA Mental Health Commission and plays a vital role in strengthening community wellbeing, reducing suicide risk, and supporting coordinated suicide prevention efforts across the region. Working alongside government agencies, community organisations, health services and local communities, the program delivers evidence-based initiatives that promote help-seeking, connection, resilience and community-led action.

 

About the Role

 

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, evaluating and continuously improving regional suicide prevention activities in line with the WA State Suicide Prevention Strategy. You will work closely with stakeholders, community groups, government agencies and service providers to identify emerging needs, strengthen partnerships, coordinate training and awareness initiatives, and support the achievement of the Goldfields Suicide Prevention Plan.
