Parts Interpreter

What you'll be doing:
Hastings Deering is currently on the hunt for a Parts Advisor to join our high performing Customer Care Centre. This a permanent, full-time, salaried position located at our Archerfield office.

Reporting to the Customer Care Supervisor - Technical, the Parts Advisor is the front‑of‑house contact for customers, handling parts enquiries efficiently while delivering a consistently high‑quality service experience.

This role will involve the following key duties and responsibilities:

• Deliver professional, customer‑focused service across phone and counter enquiries
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using CAT systems and tools
• Clarify customer needs and provide accurate parts advice and solutions
• Maintain high‑quality data and records across core systems
• Follow all operational policies, procedures and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth order delivery
• Support key accounts through clear communication and reliable follow‑through
• Apply sound problem‑solving and commercial awareness to achieve positive customer outcomes

About you:

• Experience in a customer service, parts, or operational support role
• Year 12 qualification desirable; mechanical or technical background highly regarded
• Proven customer service experience with a focus on building strong, lasting customer relationships
• Comfortable providing parts support using systems, product information and manuals
• Experienced in using CRM and order management systems to support multiple customer accounts
