The role is based at the Plane Creek Mill located in Sarina, QLD and will suit someone who is self-motivated and doesn't need close supervision.  Previous related experience is essential and we will provide training for a person who displays the right aptitude and team fit.

This is a permanent full time, day work roster role.

Primary responsibilities:

The focus of the role is:

• Providing maintenance service to other Mill departments that involves the completion of planned and unplanned maintenance and capital projects safely, on time and to the required standard.
• Assisting in the assessment of the economic life and performance of assets.
• Assisting in the development of proposals for capital and maintenance budgets.
• Liaising with the Work Co-ordinator on costs and scheduling of expenditures.

Specific Requirements:

The experience and qualities which are important to us in this role are:

• Trade Qualified Carpenter
• Manual Driver Licence
• A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a whole range of people
• A true team player who understands the value of teamwork and doesn't need to be asked to contribute
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to proactively focus on stakeholders
• Someone who takes personal responsibility and accountability seriously
